28-DEC-2018 New page review needed

[edit]

I have just created this page and it was published straight away without it being reviewed. When I have created articles in the past they have all had to go through the reviewing process so wanted to know why this one didn't and if this is correct?

Also when the article name is entered in the 'Search' box it doesn't appear as a 'drop-down' option.

@Amsmith536: Because you forgot to place the {{AFC submission/draftnew}} template on the page as you've done in the past, the system created the article. This will need to be moved to draftspace if there is a conflict of interest in your creating it. Are you under any conflict of interest with respect to this subject? Please advise.  Spintendo  22:30, 28 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Spintendo: I don't have any conflict of interest in creating this article, but should I add the {{AFC submission/draftnew}} template anyway so it gets reviewed? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Amsmith536 (talkcontribs) 22:42, 28 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Amsmith536: No, the AFC template can only be used before the article is created. What will happen now is the article will need to go through New Page Review. You may try the Teahouse question forum, the help desk, or the Articles for Creation Help Desk for assistance with that process. Also, if you could remember to sign all posts that you leave on talk pages with four tildes ~~~~ that would be most helpful. Thank you!  Spintendo  22:51, 28 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
